About
Courtney Parrisher brings over a decade of hands-on oncology nursing experience to her role as Vice President of Education and Policy. A graduate of Barton College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2014), Courtney is a board-certified oncology nurse (OCN) whose career has been dedicated to supporting individuals and families navigating the complexities of cancer care.
Having worked closely with cancer patients throughout her professional life, Courtney has witnessed firsthand the many hurdles patients and caregivers face—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Her passion lies in breaking down those barriers through advocacy, education, and meaningful policy change that puts patients and families first.
In her role with the foundation, Courtney focuses on developing community education initiatives and working with local and regional leaders to shape policies that promote equitable, compassionate cancer care for all.
Outside of her professional work, Courtney enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Steven, and their two children, Eli and Caroline. She’s also an avid reader and believes in the power of stories to heal, connect, and inspire.
